During our visit to Kolmanskop a guide will take you through the history of the town and its people. Afterwards you will be able to explore the town in your own time.

Another gem of the South is Sossusvlei, probably Namibia’s most famous and popular tourist attraction. The setting is just spectacular. It is characterised by huge red sand dunes covering a large area of the Namib desert. The red dunes are best visited during sunrise or sunset when the glow of the sun gives the dunes it’s deep red and ochre colours. It’s a unique breathtaking spectacle every day. Intermediate to Advanced – This bike tour is not for beginners to adventure biking. The route is a proven one that we have done many times. It consists mainly of solid pack dirt roads but sections can change quickly to thick loose gravel and sandy spots. The road conditions depends on the amount of traffic, rain and when last it was graded. It is therefore essential that if you come on this tour that you are able and comforatable to handle a bit of loose stuff ! That being said there is nothing to fear as we have safely guided many intermediate riders through this route before.

As an intermediate rider you should be comfortable riding at least 80KM/H on solid pack dirt roads where road conditions allow this. We stop on a regular basis and guide you through potential difficult sections, so no need to rush. You ride at the speed that you are comfortable at.
